AN ACT relating to trade and commerce; prohibiting the categorization of firearms and ammunition merchants separately from general merchandise or sporting goods retailers as specified; creating a penalty; making conforming amendments; specifying applicability; and providing for an effective date.

Notes

HB103 will prevent financial institutions from classifying merchants that are selling firearms or ammunition differently than any other general merchandise retailers or sporting goods retailers.  A practice that has taken place recently across the country as government agencies unconstitutionally  attempt to track the purchases of law abiding citizens as they exercise their 2nd Amendment Rights.
