Summary

Notes

HB260 creates a new fund to award cities and towns money from the state for increased criminal activity in their jurisdiction.   This even includes crimes by "nonresidents".

The size of the grant awarded to a city or town is actually based on the amount of criminal activity and the these activities go up, the more money they get.  This new program will start with an initial $5,000,000 from the Wyoming General Fund.

Shouldn't we be giving incentives for lowering criminal activity in Wyoming?
