Bill Description

AN ACT relating to school districts; requiring public school children to use restrooms that align with their sex at birth; requiring reasonable accommodations; providing exceptions; providing penalties; providing definitions; and providing for an effective date.

Notes

To ensure privacy and safety of Wyoming schoolchildren, this common sense bill will require each public school district that serves students in pre‑kindergarten through twelfth grade in this state shall require every multiple occupancy restroom or changing room to be designated as either for the exclusive use of the male sex or for the exclusive use of the female sex.
